happy new year! my reading goal for 2021 was "read more new books." i succeeded! i also read 120 books, blasting my 2021 reading challenge out of the water.

this list includes 9 works that i read/listened to multiple times this year. per the way goodreads tracks stuff, each time counts separately toward my yearly total. (e.g., if i read winnie the pooh twice, it counts as two books read.) this list also includes 58 manga volumes.
